Ontario has opened the application mainly for the two streams under its Employer Job Offer category. Still, yesterday, after facing technical problems and a short application period, both of the streams have attained their intake limit and therefore have been closed now.
The Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) Employer Job Offer category grants immigrants with the job offer to register for a provincial nomination for Canadian permanent residence. They can easily register in Canada, or from anywhere in the world since they have been appointed for a permanent spot with an Ontario employer.
On the 3rd March, the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) discharged an announcement for the starting up applications for the International Student Stream. Inlet was immediately stopped due to some of the technical problems based on the OINP webpage.
Afterward, it was again restarted along with the foreign Worker Stream, but after a short while when all the applications of both the streams had reached their taking in limits and were again closed.
The OINP mentioned that they had accepted 1322 successful registrations during the time of the application intake procedure. All of them were successfully resigned and have also received the file number and have 14 days to complete an application, which takes a maximum of three hours on the OINP official website.
Requirements of the streams were very high, so it is not possible that who all wanted to registered will be successful in doing so, OINP said that they would continue the procedure of taking in the application across all the streams to regulate when the Employer Job Offer: International Student and Foreign Worker streams will be restarted in the year 2020.
Currently, the application for both the streams will remain closed until any further notice.
Application is only open for those two who are entitled to the In-Demand Skills Stream under Ontario’s Employer Job Offer category.
Immigrating to work in Ontario
There are overall three streams under Ontario’s Employer Job Offer Category:
Foreign Worker Stream, a stream where all the candidates require job offers in professional occupation through the National Occupation Classification (NOC) code type 0, A, or B.
International Student Stream, a stream where qualified international student graduates need a job offer in a proficient occupation
In-Demand Skills Stream, a stream generally for the international students who have the jobs, offers is several in-demand occupations.
Although, the Employer Job Offer category is never the only way for foreigners who wish to immigrate to Ontario.
The OINP Human Capital Category does not automatically need applicants to have a job offer in the territory. It adds subcategories not only for the international student graduates and also for foreign workers.
