In the recent Express Entry draw, Canada invited 27,332 applicants to apply for permanent residence.
Immigration, Refugee, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) welcomed candidates through the Canadian Experience Class (CEC) on February 13. The current unusual invitation draw only accepted the candidates who have the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score a minimum of 75, which is the lowest CRS requirement ever.
Suppose you talk of today’s invitation round. IRCC organized the tiebreak rule, which states that those applicants who had the minimum CRS score of 75 will only consider if they had submitted their profile on September 12, 2020, at 15:31 UTC.
Today’s invitation round clearly says about the commitment of IRCC’s to accomplish its goals of inviting 401,000 new immigrants in the year 2021. The IRCC aimed to invite 108,500 new immigrants through the Express Entry-managed programs as per the 2021-2023 Immigration Levels Plan. In the following year, it aims to welcome 110,500 and then 113,750 in the year 2023.
