Migration applicants with work experience as registered nurses or enlisted psychiatric nurses were the focal point of another Nova Scotia Labor Market Priorities draw held October 28.
All 430 individuals welcomed had a profile in the Express Entry system, which deals with the pool of possibility for Canada’s three Federal High-Skilled monetary migration programs — the Federal Skilled Worker Class, Federal Skilled Trades Class and the Canadian Experience Class.
The Labor Market Priorities Stream permits Nova Scotia to search the Express Entry pool for applicants with work experience in occupations confronting work deficiencies in the state and invite them to apply for a provincial nomination for Canadian permanent residence.
A permanent residence brings about an extra 600 points toward an Express Entry candidates Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score and adequately ensures a challenge to apply for Canadian permanent residence from the Government of Canada.
A representative for the Nova Scotia Nominee Program (NSNP) said there was no minimum CRS score required for this draw.
This was Nova Scotia’s fifth draw through the Labor Market Priorities Stream in 2019. Past draws have focused on carpenters, early childhood teachers, financial auditors and accountants, and French-speaking Express Entry competitors.
